PETER WATT

Peter Watt is a pinball player of incredible skill and technique that has amassed over 200 competition wins in his storied career. While competitive pinball was finding its feet in Australia, Peter was dominating competitions and showcasing a world class level of play rarely seen at the time.

Attaining the rank of Australia’s number one in 2016, Peter claimed victories in the Australian Pinball Expo in 2014, Brisbane Masters in both 2015 and 2018, and the Queensland Championships in 2013 and 2018. In addition to this, Peter was runner up in the Australian Championships three times in 2013, 2015, and 2020 and won the Queensland Pinball Open for four consecutive years in from 2014 to 2017, a feat that will likely never be repeated.

Peter’s fierceness in competition belies his approachability and supportive nature away from the flippers where he is known for his kind nature and willingness to offer advice. Peter single-handedly elevated the level of play in competitive Australian pinball and thus is more than deserving of his place in the ANZAP hall of fame.
