We don’t pretend to have experience with every game here at Game the System. Jewel Master for instance is a bit of a mystery. Have you played it, and what are your impressions?

Rastan was a fantastic fantasy themed scrolling platformer / fighter. The arcade game isn’t well known, but it was known well enough to spawn multiple home releases. This one on the C64 is presented beautifully in this album style package

Arcade perfect conversions were tough to find in the 8 and 16bit days, but Ghouls ‘n Ghosts on the Mega Drive was as close as you could get. So much so that high score chasers and speed runners can happily play either and feel right at home, all the same tricks work just as well!

As far as rare C64 games go, The Last Ninja Remix cartridge for the C64 / C64GS console systems is certainly up there. The cartridge by itself is hard to find, let alone with the rest of the packaging! You have to wonder if it’s sought after more for the zero load times...

Did you know that FEZ - the digitally released indie game featured in Indie Game The Movie - later had a limited physical release? With gold foil etched art, and a gold USB cube containing the game, it’s as beautiful as the game itself!

You might have played Master of Magic back in the day on the C64, a great turn based RPG. But chances are your copy didn’t look like this! A rare disk version, presumably released only in the USA

Chances are you played Theme Park back in the day, as it was released on pretty much every platform known to man. Building parks to keep people amused, to keep yourself amused! Just keep those rides on the tracks...
